What do you do for infection control?

Our office follows procedures recommended by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). These measures include: disinfectant hand soap, gloves, face masks, and eye protection, chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces,

sterilization of all equipment, including dental hand-pieces, before every use, disposable materials as often as possible

How old should my child be for his/her first visit?

We recommend bring the child to the dentist with you or a sibling to watch what happens during a dental visit around 2 years old. If the child is interested, Dr. Hill will ask to count their teeth. This give your child a gentle introduction to the dental office. Most children begin cleanings around age 3 and have X-rays around 5 or 6 years old.
